Reconciliation

reconciliationContact: Parish Office - 908-464-1585

Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Jesus continues to forgive, heal and reconcile us to our God and to one another.

A priest is available to hear confessions every Saturday, except Holy Saturday, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Upper Church.

Confession is also available on Monday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Upper Church.

Parishioners are welcome to seek individual reconciliation and spiritual direction at other times by appointment with a priest.

Children of the parish are prepared for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in the second grade. The Archdiocese of Newark requires that a child attend religious education classes for at least two years prior to the reception of any sacrament. Special preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist is done by the parents/guardians of the children under the supervision and guidance of the Religious Education staff. Special preparation is also provided for children above the second grade level who have not received these sacraments.
